Congratulations Ron! What a great recognizion for your contributions to diving in Ft Lauderdale and the World. You and your divers were amazing and inspiring.....and I witnessed that over the years as I was competing for Sweden and for the Texas Longhorns in the 70's and 80's. What a great time in diving it was, with the beauty of both simple dives and acrobatic dives!
ReplyDeleteI too continued in our sport as a coach and still feel the magic it brings to people to learn to "fly with control" and journey in all the elements...taking off from land, into the air, then dive into the water and very much involving the spirit, which is our "fire". Conquering the elements is an interesing path indeed! Not an easy one...and takes lots of practice!
Few people reach the success you had in coaching. WELL DONE indeed!!
Warm greetings from Hawaii,
Anita Rossing
